If you ever had dreams of running for public office, why not do so now? Make something of your retirement years, and let the world learn to appreciate you still. You may not make Capitol Hill, but you can be Mayor of your county. Ok, so they think you are too old to be Sheriff? Well then, how about a senator. There is so much you can do to make retirement count for you. If you are smart, youd plan hard and plan well for your retirement. When that time comes, you can live like a king, rather than live hand to mouth on whatever comes in. Take that as free advice, and see that you use it, because you may not get it again. Once youre retired, your time is sincerely your own to do with as you please. I understand the drive and desire to do nothing for a while, but that is dangerous to you in more ways than one. Instead, you should see that you get some activity through your system every day. Don’t just put money away for retirement; try your hand at investments to. By the time the day eventually comes when you can no longer earn the conventional way, youll be glad you did all those investments at the time that you did. Then you will never have to depend on anyone to make provisions for you at that time of your life. When you need to grab a daily paper, you could try jogging into town rather than driving in. What else do you get to do in retirement? Try to get some life back in those bones by doing more activity without relying too much on machines to make things happen for you. That way, you will that you retain the freshness in your bones a lot more easily
